March 24, 2023 marked the third anniversary of Iowa's first COVID-19 death. To date, COVID has taken the lives of 10,742 Iowans, and left many others with long-term issues.
Pam Douglas' Iowa COVID-19 crane memorial is a traveling exhibit that continues to touch hearts. Now at LORAS College in Dubuque, the display will next move to North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City in June. In 2024, the exhibit is slated to migrate to Sioux City. Additionally, central Iowans have the opportunity to see a smaller crane memorial that Pam created for the Waukee Public Library from April 3 through May 31. We'll share more details soon!
