This is a 3-dimensional, visual reflection of hope and healing. The work consists of over 1,500 origami cranes and butterflies, river rock, driftwood and copper wire. The work suggests resilience that stems from nature's model--driftwood, shaped by the elements, and river rocks edges, softened by the passage of time. Just as they endure time, so to do we evolve through life's challenges, growing stronger through transformative experiences. The cranes symbolize hope and healing. The butterflies symbolize metamorphosis.
